O projeto tem o objetivo de detectar e identificar, atrav\u00e9s de t\u00e9cnica molecular, a poss\u00edvel presen\u00e7a de v\u00edrus ent\u00e9ricos na \u00e1gua de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica.Os v\u00edrus ent\u00e9ricos humanos s\u00e3o importantes causas de enfermidades veiculadas atrav\u00e9s da \u00e1gua. Esses pat\u00f3genos, que s\u00e3o eliminados em grandes quantidades pelas fezes de indiv\u00edduos infectados,\u00a0podem permanecer vi\u00e1veis e infecciosos durante v\u00e1rios meses no ambiente e, assim, contaminar\u00a0\u00e1guas destinadas ao consumo humano, al\u00e9m de resistirem aos atuais processos de tratamento da\u00a0\u00e1gua e do esgoto aplicados no controle bacteriano.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Agradecemos o apoio de Claudinaldo Ferreira, que ajudou a viabilizar o projeto.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u201cA \u00e1gua de boa qualidade \u00e9 como a sa\u00fade<br \/>\nou a liberdade: s\u00f3 tem valor quando acaba\u201d.<br \/>\nGuimar\u00e3es rosa<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Qualidade de vida<\/p>\n<p>As \u00e1guas apresentam import\u00e2ncia sanit\u00e1ria e econ\u00f4mica. Do ponto de vista sanit\u00e1rio, o<br \/>\nabastecimento de \u00e1gua visa controlar e prevenir doen\u00e7as, implantar h\u00e1bitos higi\u00eanicos na<br \/>\npopula\u00e7\u00e3o, facilitar a limpeza p\u00fablica e propiciar conforto e bem estar.
