Ela \u00e9 realizada sempre no m\u00eas de outubro sob a coordena\u00e7\u00e3o do MCTIC, por meio da Coordena\u00e7\u00e3o-Geral de Populariza\u00e7\u00e3o e Divulga\u00e7\u00e3o da Ci\u00eancia (CGPC\/SEPED) e conta com a colabora\u00e7\u00e3o de secretarias estaduais e municipais, ag\u00eancias de fomento, espa\u00e7os cient\u00edfico-culturais, institui\u00e7\u00f5es de ensino e pesquisa, sociedades cient\u00edficas, escolas, \u00f3rg\u00e3os governamentais, empresas de base tecnol\u00f3gica e entidades da sociedade civil. A SNCT tem o objetivo de aproximar a Ci\u00eancia e Tecnologia da popula\u00e7\u00e3o, promovendo eventos que congregam centenas de institui\u00e7\u00f5es a fim de realizarem atividades de divulga\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica em todo o Pa\u00eds. A ideia \u00e9 criar uma linguagem acess\u00edvel \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o, por meios inovadores que estimulem a curiosidade e motivem a popula\u00e7\u00e3o a discutir as implica\u00e7\u00f5es sociais da Ci\u00eancia, al\u00e9m de aprofundarem seus conhecimentos sobre o tema.\u00a0O per\u00edodo oficial da 14\u00aa SNCT vai de 23 a 29 de outubro de 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>\u201cA Matem\u00e1tica est\u00e1 em tudo\u201d \u00e9 o tema escolhido para a 14\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o da Semana Nacional de Ci\u00eancia e Tecnologia (SNCT). A escolha baseia-se no fato de que a Olimp\u00edada Internacional de Matem\u00e1tica e o Congresso Internacional de Matem\u00e1ticos acontecem pela primeira vez no Brasil.
