XRD Booking and Scheduling

All X-ray diffraction measurements must be requested through the official laboratory scheduling system. Each request will be reviewed by the LAPMat coordination team based on equipment availability, sample suitability, safety conditions, and research priority.

📌 How to Request an XRD Analysis

To request an XRD measurement, users must complete the online form available below:

XRD Analysis Request Formv (Equipment under maintenance!!!)

After submission, the request will be evaluated by the laboratory team. Scheduling will only be confirmed after approval by e-mail.

🧪 Sample Requirements

Samples must be properly identified, stable, non-radioactive, and compatible with the XRD sample holder. Powder samples should preferably be dry, homogeneous, and finely ground to ensure reliable diffraction data.

Film, ceramic, polymer, composite, or bulk samples must be submitted with clear information regarding dimensions, substrate, preparation route, and any relevant safety restrictions.

⚠️ Important Notes

The laboratory may refuse samples that are:

✦ Unidentified or incorrectly labeled;
✦ Contaminated or wet;
✦ Chemically hazardous without proper information;
✦ Biologically unsafe;
✦ Radioactive, corrosive, or volatile;
✦ Incompatible with the equipment configuration.

✅ Confirmation

Submission of the form does not guarantee automatic scheduling. The requester will receive confirmation by e-mail after technical evaluation by the LAPMat coordination team.
