Em atendimento a solicitação da professora Francisca de Paula de Oliveira, em 24 de janeiro de 2017, a equipe do Núcleo de Acessibilidade e Inclusão da Universidade Federal do Amapá realizou uma intervenção pedagógica na turma de Ciências Sociais do Campus Marco Zero do Equador, no horário vespertino. O objetivo da referida ação institucional foi sensibilizar os acadêmicos desta turma, quanto a presença de membro da comunidade de pessoa com deficiência na comunicada acadêmica.

A programação contou com o apoio de Claudovil Barroso de Almeida Júnior (GEA), que relatou sobre a sua vivência e aprendizagem ao longo da vida escolar e acadêmica, destacando a importância das instituições trabalharem com a acessibilidade atitudinal, onde se considera as dificuldades enfretadas pelas pessoas com deficiência.
